Agree Linda, this is a newer notary in TN and CA notaries always seem to think their situation is the norm for the country, and it's not. We hear about it every time a post like this comes up, making that person feel it's their fault they are not banking the money promised. CA is the exception for everything, and even those notaries took over a decade to get where they are, and I am sure it's the minority, not the majority. Don't forget what it costs to live out there, they have to make that money to compensate for their cost of living. It's all relevant...location, location, location.
