I am not a good person to ask about fees. When I first got in to the biz ( 7 years ago), I made $100-$125 per assignment. That was OK nothing great. When fees started dropping 5 years ago, I stopped doing signings (with the exception of one Title Co) GNW is much more profitable than the diminshing profitablity of loan signings. With inlfation out of control ( especially food and gas), it makes no monetary sense to do most loan signings. Fees continue to drop. And the competition does not care if they make a profit. It is beyond crazy.
New notaries are paying lots of money on notary education courses to learn how to lose money. Then they complain that they can't afford to purchase a laser printer, etc. |
