Notarial certificate for a Warranty Deed ...

In almost 17 years of being a notary, I've always only seen an Acknowledgment for a Warranty Deed (or any other Deed, for that matter). Today, I received a package from Arizona for an Arizona property and the Warranty Deed's notarial cert says "Signed and sworn to before me .... " Maybe I'm wrong, but that verbiage has always meant Jurat to me.

Business has been slow so perhaps the cobwebs are getting to me? Wink

Yeah, I've got a message in to hiring party for clarification. Meanwhile, what say you?
