I had a purchase for a $1.8million for a Colorado property. The clients are selling their home in Shell Beach for a mere $3.5million. It hasn't sold yet, and actually as I cruised the neighborhood on the way to hit the beach before I met friends for dinner, I saw a lot of for sale signs. Ocean view property doesn't come cheap. Mr. Borrower is retired, they are looking for a more leisurely lifestyle, open space, to be closer to their children, lower taxes, and cost of living. The 101 corridor was a parking lot through the beach cities at 5pm. It is only two lanes here and no way to expand it. It isn't going to get any better.
This is the business I'm getting these days. I do have a refi tonight and one on Monday, but these are no longer the core of my business. Doing more commercial refis, and buyer seller packages. |
