| Web based fax services are ok for incoming faxes. I use K7 (www.k7.com) for incoming. As you get started you will find that a lot of the folks you sign up with require that you complete forms and fax them back. After a while it becomes kind of expensive to run to the local fax office and pay $.0X cents per page. I just bought a Brother Intellifax 2800 that I use for outgoing faxes. Got this because I already have a laser printer (which you will also need). The 2800 was $169 at Staples and it doubles as a copier. If you don't have a laser printer you may want to look at one of the all-in-one machines. If you go this route I would strongly recommend you buy HP so you are using native PCL on your printer. I'm relative new (7 months) and have sort of learned what I need by trial and error. |
