so......maybe since nearly 100% of my signings are a distance (usually about an hour away from home), I tell them that I won't be able to scan back docs within the hour, but will do it when I get home and I still stop in and do some shopping if I want to in that town. I"m up front about not being able to send them immediately and it's never really been a problem. sometimes they will ask me for an ETA but then, I'm not afraid to ask them the same thing about docs. I have considered getting a scanner for on the road but decided, nope....it's not that urgent. The companies that require scan backs are often the ones who send me the docs last minute or late. Maybe i just work for a different set of companies...rarely a title company directly. Now if it was a title company which pays considerably better, I would jump on getting those docs back ASAP!
Since I am a realtor, the only time I see that time is of essence on scan backs would be if it is a purchase. Educate me on why immediate scan backs are required for you, I"m curious. |
