many forms can be obtained from the Florida Bar website and from the State of Florida website - apparently they have not updated their forms as I found out at work Monday when an ack on a deed at an attorney's office was not compliant with this verbiage; I was told by my coworker, who handles the software in the office, that these forms come straight from the State and she had discussed this with other paralegals in the area (which I sincerely doubt since she's not a notary) - she said they all agreed that "if the state's not worried about it, neither are we" - the state forms take about 3 months to catch up but until then they'll be fine as they are. Now, this is what *I* was told by her....just watch what you're signing on preprinted certs.
I. myself, *will* add the correct verbiage to the certs I do |
