This may explain why there are always so many questions about fines and penalties on the proctored state exam for a California notary commission. (Did mine yesterday.) It's tempting to believe it's enough to know what to do and what not to do so you never have to worry about penalties and fines, but I guess whoever prepares these exams believes otherwise.
I agree that the situation with Harris is about as bad as it gets.  |
