I don't yet, but I'm sure I will. Perhaps someone you know, your friend knows, your neighbor knows, one of us here on NR, no-one knows. I know of many, many cases via my sister working in the front lines in a NY hospital. As her sounding-board and support, the details are excruciating. I can not repeat them. So much wrong, such tragedy. It is just too much.
The stress is monumental. The burden can be unbearable at times. And the medical professionals deserve and need our urgent help and deepest gratitude- like no other. That is why I am a strong advocate for listening to, and being supportive of, our medical professionals - as they call upon us to just stay home - to help them in helping us. We can rise up. We can all be heroes in this together by doing our own part. They save lives, while we stay home so that we don't send them more to die. It's pretty simple.
Yes, they do know someone, and another one, and another one, and another - every single day. I send texts and pictures to my sister every day to take her mind away. I have not heard back from her yet today, which is unusual. |
