And I believe the calculation of benefits goes back to earnings as of 6/30 of the previous year - so benefits now would be based on total earnings (and Unemp. Taxes paid in) as of 6/30/2019. **Unless** they've put a provision in that the extra $600/week on top of normal calculated benefits is available to all regardless if they worked prior to 6/30/2019.
And I agree with other folks who have said some are going to find 39 weeks of unemployment at benefits plus $600 far more attractive than hanging onto their jobs... |
