I forget who said what by NSVLady is correct about the journal. First of all, Alabama doesn't require it, but thankfully most of the newer notaries understand the importance of it and use it anyway.
Tonight I hosted a free webinar on the notarization proclamation. About 15 notaries attended. We reviewed the the Governor's Proclamation and then discussed how we'd go about implementing it. This process won't be quick at all so I'm going to limit the types of documents I'll notarize using this method.
