Thanks for taking the time to spell this out for us. If I were going to do this, I think I'd want the kind of security described with the medium assurance level. Having my 'signature' stored in a database controlled by some other organization wouldn't leave me feeling very comfortable. Whether or not that would be a worthwhile investment is a whole other issue.

At this point in my notary career, I doubt I'll be even considering this, but it never hurts to become more informed.
