Right. It's good to be reminded of all the changes that happened when they came along. They set up their fees to their clients on a per signing basis, which made it easy for signing services to pass those costs on to us by taking it right out of our fees.
Remember when the signing services who got onboard with them started dropping fees by $15 a signing? I don't know if other platforms operate that way, but I don't think any did back then, at least. Sadly, they seem to have become the standard source for new notaries to find work. And for all too many, that $15 represented a major chunk of their profit margin, although I'd bet most don't realize that. Very sad!
