I've chased fire fighter helicopter pilots in the Sawtooths of Idaho. Up on a mountainside, on the side of a highway by flash light with the first major storm of the season on our heels (while the kids were in the car totally out of control). On veterinarians metal tables. Hoarders homes. In mountain campsites (some of those also by flashlight). Sporting events. Hospital bedsides. Farm fields including water ditch banks (Idaho farm fields are water by canals). Airport hangers. Inside a helicopter (flew in to a local airport for the signing). Truck drivers going down the interstate. Correctional facilities (officers not inmates). Coroner's office. Those are just the few off the top of my head. The list is long and varied! I've been in the business for over 17 years now. I keep thinking I've seen it all . . . and then I find that I have not. Gotta love the business. I am never afraid to ask for compensation for what I know the job is worth. Here in the Idaho mountains you never know what the weather will be like - fires, floods, landslides, snow storms, heat waves. |
