Unfortunately, this can happen. This guy can charge whatever he wants and if someone accepts, it's done. It's too bad the title company didn't try to help. I know many of them are throwing the docs out there and telling the borrower/seller to find a notary, get 'er done and return docs by a certain date.

I think this guy's name should be put out there and the title company should get a note.
How about sending info to the SOS?

I had a man get a price quote of $250 for a single document. Notary said it was for the convenience of having in-home service and the document notarized. Fortunately, this man crossed state lines, he found me and it was done for way, way less.
