I usually use Firefox, but a friend of mine with a slower computer says Chrome loads faster. Chrome works fine when I do use it, so does Edge.
There are two versions of Edge. The old one was written in-house by Microsoft, and it wasn't too great. They gave up on it, and arranged with Google to offer Chrome with their own skin, and called it the new Edge.
To see which Edge you have, open it. Click on the three dots in the upper right. In the menu that appears, go to the bottom and click "Help and feedback". Then click About Microsoft Edge. Information about your version will appear.
My version is 88.0.705.74. It also says "This browser is made possible by the Chromium open source project and other open source software." |
