Most states have laws that say US passports are acceptable ID. My state simply says that foreign passports are acceptable too.
Some states make it harder. For example, the foreign passport might only be OK for real estate transactions. Or it might have to have the holder's address (which is rare). Or it might have to have a stamp from USCIS. |
