I've been a paid member of this site since 2004, and it might just be possible I could count the work I got directly from this site on my two hands. To clarify, by that I mean people who said they found me by looking me up here. (Unless it's a signing service calling to potentially hire me, I try to always ask how they found me, and it's almost never here.) That doesn't mean I haven't gotten work indirectly from here, i.e. that people (like title companies and signing services) haven't checked out my profile here before calling.
Other folks have had a very different experience. The market I'm in is very expensive to buy Google ads and/or ppc advertising, so this site doesn't show up on the first page when folks search for a notary in this area. BUT that doesn't mean it's not still worth it to support this site and take advantage of some of the discounts on supplies and enhanced services available to paid members.
