I just ordered a carton...and this popup came up for free shipping, so I clicked on it...and..voila...the screen changed and now I don't have to pay $9.95 shipping. Great, click complete order. It does. Next another screen opens to 'sign up w/FreeShipping.com'. Uh, no...that's $19.95ish/mo. So I close that. NOW I HAVE NO IDEA WTH JUST HAPPENED. OD sent order confirmation to my e-mail...price is what it said w/free shipping. But, I didn't complete the signup (which may or may not have been done automatically by OD when I clicked that button...I DUNNO.)
Went back to the FS signup and now screen has changed to add 'this is a free 7 day trial' and I must cancel within 7 days or they're gonna start billing me. ((How, I don't know as I didn't complete the signup, but it might have been automatic thru OD.) Just saying....be careful or you'll be as confused as I am right now. |
