Also, IMO...  

A. An inexperienced Notary saw the $$$$ offered, of course he/she didn't negotiate the fee like you did took the appt. and didn't care about "FILLING IN THE BLANKS."

B. An "experienced" Notary waivered on what to do perhaps spoke with TC or some of the signers "felt" good enough to move on while thinking about the $$$$. All the while possibly thinking this isn't right with that gnawing feeling in the pit of their stomach and kept it moving anyway.

C. I do 100% know for a fact that little bit of $$$$ will cover any legal expenses if something comes into question. Hope that Notary has E&O. Well, that's entirely different discussion.....

Yoli, at least you saw the warning signs did your due diligence and walked away with your Notary Commission and reputation in excellent standing!
