I still think I'd call Title first for a couple reasons: 1) you might get direct next time 2) they need to know about the weasels they've chosen 3) whether or not they will DO something other than tell you SS was paid/not their problem,
BUT, this 1099C hits 'em where it hurts--their wallet instead of ours. Love it.  I do want to add that in over 3 decades, I've only been not paid once because they abruptly filed bankruptcy and went OOB. |
