Email received from ServiceLink vendor management on 10/8/2024 with subject line "Rising Volume":
"Hello!
I am reaching out to see if you would be interested in more volume. Volume is on the rise and we want all of our agents to be prepared and ready to take it on. The most important thing is to have competitive fees and auto assign if that’s something you are interested in.
We have agents in your area with fees as low as $50 for HE. This is not saying you have to update your fees to that but we just want to be transparent in what others are charging currently.
Please let me know if you would like to make any updates to your profile to help you get the most volume you can!" My response to her:
"I cover a very large territory and ServiceLink requested I generate a spreadsheet reflecting each town, each zip code, each county and my fee for each. I did that. That was several years ago and my fees have not changed since then even though everything else has increased in price.
If others are willing to accept discounted fees, I wish them luck in keeping their business alive and thriving. I’ve been in business since January 2006.
Insofar as ServiceLink, keep in mind that as people charge less for their services, they tend to cut corners to rush to their next job and often make mistakes. Or, maybe they just don’t care enough to provide a professional service since they’re not being paid professional fees.
I’ll keep my fees. Thank you for asking!"
I like working with ServiceLink. They call me when they're ready to meet my fees. I run my business according to my business plan, not theirs.
