Hi, well its been a ride, I must say. We did a July 23, 2024 Signing for a new client, Standard Notary Service based in Florida for their client, a firm of real estate attorneys. It was a little $100 job. By Sep 6th we finally get a Deluxe check with job info but instead of the my name the check was made out to a company called Mobile Notary Zone rendering it uncashable! Called Standard owner Dalton Jewett who said that was my problem not his because he paid my $100 fee to his new accounting firm, NotaryPay LLC who works with a Notary Database company called signingorder.com. From there it was downhill. Very nasty chap name of Anthony at signingorder.com said to correct the name on the check I would have to go in and change what I put into MY PROFILE!!! To change it, I would have to join signingorder.com. Well that isn't ever going to happen. So Anthony claims he can 'blacklist' me. Meanwhile, an email from a Yolanda Adams(!!) in Rocklin, CA says she passing on to me a two page letter from Nikki Schwartz-Davis @ NOTARYPAY LLC!! The thing was filled with threats against me and my company. I knew it was more pressure to stop calling and writing. I brushed off Yolanda. Had no idea any NotRot members were involved in this.
After Anthony refuse to dismantle my profile they had mocked up from my real profile at NNA Signingagent.com, I filed a complaint with NNA VP Chris Sturdivant. He apologized to me and said he knows the owners and was just trying to help them, he didn't know they withheld my fee. Meanwhile, we left on our Princess Cruise for 16 days from SF Sept 28 to Oct 14th. Upon return I've spoken to Florida Corporation Agency and they have supplied me with owners names, addresses, NotaryPay LLC and Title Processing Center and signingorder.com -Carol West and Kristopher Kellenger. I will give NotaryPay one last chance to send that $100 check. As for other Notaries injecting themselves into this to assist their Clients, signingorder and notarypay I consider that a low blow against a fellow NSA. |
