I don't know how you defend against this. I can't believe the WH released that call summary in which Trump, after being told that Ukraine wants to buy more Javelin missiles, said, "But I need a favor from you, though." and then asked him to start an investigation into his political opponent. Trump STILL doesn't understand (or doesn't care) that it is illegal to request or accept any sort of election assistance from a foreign government - and this call was made the day after Mueller testified before Congress about foreign interference in the 2016 election. Talk about a lack of situational awareness...
