1. Don Jr.'s book "Triggered" rockets to the top of the NYT Bestseller List - and then it was reported (with documentation) that the RNC spent over $97,000 buying copies of his book. Can this family do anything without cheating?
2. Trump pardoned a convicted war criminal, overruled a decision by the Navy to discipline him by removing him as a member of the Seals, and fired the Secretary of the Navy for disagreeing. Trump then announced that he wanted the war criminal to campaign with him. 3. At a rally in FL, Trump claimed that the "fake news media" said he had a "massive heart attack" that led to his unexpected visit to Walter Reed Medical Center. Not one major media outlet reported that. We still don't know why he went there, but "the first part of his annual physical" is not a real thing, so there may be something going on.
4. At the same rally, Trump claimed that we are now fighting a "War on Thanksgiving". This is as imaginary as his "War on Christmas" - there have been ZERO stories about people wanting to eliminate Thanksgiving.
5. At the same rally, Trump claimed to have defeated Obama in 2016. I'll leave it to you to figure that one out because I can't.
6. At the same rally, Trump said that when he got to Walter Reed the doctors asked him to remove his shirt so they could see his "great chest". The man is 72 years old and morbidly obese - no one wants to see his chest unless they have to.
7. A day later, Trump tweeted out a picture of Sylvester Stallone's sculpted body from one of the Rocky movies with Trump's head Photoshopped in. When WAPO reported this, they were attacked on Twitter by MAGAts who claimed WAPO had no evidence to show that the picture was altered. If you had any doubt that this is a cult, that alone should remove it.
We have a POTUS whose mental state seems to be declining on a daily basis. The stress of the impeachment hearings cannot be helping. None of what he's been saying lately makes sense, and he often seems to be confused when he's speaking - running off on tangents that have nothing to do with what he was just talking about and telling obvious lies. I'm not sure if it's dementia or psychosis, but there's something going on here. |
