There are now about 400 bills passed by the House, some on a bipartisan basis, sitting on Mitch McConnell's desk that he refuses to call up for Senate action. You have identified the wrong party that needs to be shamed into going to work for the public they supposedly serve.
I will say this about impeachment: McConnell has stated that he does not intend to hold a proper trial, with subpoenaed documents and witnesses. As long as that is the case, the outcome of any Senate trial is a foregone conclusion, so it is pointless to send Articles of Impeachment. Pelosi may as well sit on them till the Supreme Court addresses the question of whether House subpoenas need to be answered. |
