I'm not disputing where it originated, I'm questioning the assertion that the Chinese government purposely created and released the virus. There's no evidence of that.
It already has a name - the virus is SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes is COVID-19, either of which to me seems easier to say than "Chinese virus". It was named that way by WHO because they wat to avoid linking emerging diseases to a geographic region. But Trump is doing it intentionally:

Google it. A father and his two children were stabbed in an attack just a couple of days ago. A Korean reporter for CNN was harrassed while she was setting up for a remote broadcast just yesterday. There are reports of attacks and harrasment against Asians all over Twitter, and articles have been written about it It's not that difficult to find. |
