Your governor doesn't seem to know what he's doing. His intentions are good but his execution leaves a lot to be desired.
While our governor issued broad guidelines as far as what businesses had to shut down, my county here in TX is as of today under a shelter-in-place order, and these orders are done on a county by county basis; the only reason for leaving the house is to get food and supplies, go to a medical appointment, or go to work at an essential business. All "non-essential" businesses are closed; restaurants are restricted to curbside or drive-through pickup or delivery. Luckily, liquor stores are classified as an essential business...
Is there any reason why FL can't so something similar - let the county or the cities make the decision on restrictions? |
