To quote Shakespeare, "What's past is prologue". In other words, where we are today is because of what we did to get here.
There's been plenty of dirt since 2016 and it all ties back to the way he has been in the past. Do you honestly believe he changed once he became President? You've constantly dismissed it by saying it's either fake news or it doesn't matter. When does it begin to matter? Just this week he's blatantly violated two federal regulations, one against promoting or endorsing commercial products (while sitting at the Resolute Desk just to rub it in more), and another against campaigning against a political opponent while on Federal property. He continues to show no regard or respect for laws and regulations, just as he did when he and his father cheated and lied their way through real estate markets. As the saying goes, a leopard doesn't change his spots.
I could give you a litany of the dirt since 2016, but I won't bother because you'll either deny it or dismiss as unimportant. Read the book if you want to learn what kind of person he was and still is. |
