... with the court's ruling concerning Trump's attempt to do just, end one of Obama's E.O.'s which, as I said before, even Obama said he did not have the Constitutional authority to even do in the first place. I also do not understand why the courts did not immediately put an end to it in challenges prior to Trump.
To me, even the courts are getting political in some areas and have handed down some rulings not based on the Constitution or the laws, but on either they think "X" is a good idea regardless of the Constitution and laws, or that many people think something along those lines and the actual ruling they should render will get either certain people or just people in general mad at them. That is not what they are there for, however, increasingly, it seems that is where we find ourselves.
I don't doubt what you said Biden intends to do in regards to Trump's E.O.'s. As far as the Paris Accord, have you, Mike, actually read it or what it binds the U.S. to while specifically not even attempting to bind other countries to? I know I have posted a short video by John Stossel where he does a really good job of breaking it down in about 7 minutes. Overall, it is pretty much a do absolutely nothing different for some countries to what amounts to a progressive's wet dream of restrictions on the U.S. over the same time. When it comes to that specific agreement, Trump was 1000% correct, the Obama administration was horrible at making such deals without screwing us, the U.S. people.
For me personally, I don't understand how Obama was allowed to obligate the U.S. to what is in reality, a treaty while calling it an "Accord" without getting the Constitutionally required 2/3 Senate approval. Although that is another argument against it for a different thread. As the sayings go, A rose by any other name ... and The devil is in the details. Just because politicians ~ say ~ something will do this or will do that, doesn't actually mean that it was ever intended to even come close to whatever "that" was they used in selling it to the citizens.
I found the video after I typed all that above so I'm just going to include it so you don't have to try to search for it in past posts.
