Well, we have a ton of gated communities here and double-gated in south FL.
They are guard-manned, unmanned all over the place. They tend to work to keep 99% of the undesirable out and your kids can feel safe walking around. They are not free either, and you pay it in your Association fees.
If your community has a gate and not utilizing it, I would be sort of upset as a waste. Obviously, there is a benefit to gated communities, and walls to divide property to give definition and can safely protect it.
What we have is not working, build the wall to protect everyone from trying to enter and those of us on the other side. |
