Yes, they returned it, but do you buy that any single agent involved in the search actually believed that Trump's passport, or any other person's passport, is "classified material" that should have been confiscated in the first place?
This is the same FBI that Hoover ran and NO, it does not have this mystical "above reproach", or they are above doing illegal things to further the agenda(s) individual agents or the organization itself has concept that many believe (or just for political discussions claim to believe). NO, the FBI does not deserve this automatic "benefit of the doubt" concept that so many are trying to push, its own history proves that. It is because of the history that it, and its agents, worked so hard to knowingly hide that the FBI is the one that has to bend over backwards to prove to us that they are worthy of even the modest amount of trust which many today would have us to blindly give.
This is, after all, the same arm of our government which, still today, maintains a 100% "Good Shooting" (i.e. justified) record (self declared after internal "investigations") in every single agent/non-agent shooting since the FBI was allowed to start carrying and using guns. |
