I think it's fairly obvious to all but the most die-hard MAGA types that Fox should not be considered a serious source of actual news. Senior management knew that the on-air talent was lying, the on-air talent knew that the on-air talent was lying, and no one tried to stop it or rein it in. Carlson demanded - demanded! - that the fact-checker who was calling them out publicly be fired immediately, not because she was wrong, but because it was negatively impacting the stock price.

This is not about liberal bias vs. conservative bias, it's about deliberately misinforming their audience because of corporate greed. As Murdoch supposedly said at one point in the deposition, it was never about red or blue - it was always about green.
