He lied, just as he always does. And then he took that lie and tried to monetize it by raising funds, because he is desperate for money. It's all part of the long con, a game he will play for as long as he can.

I wonder why his followers have never questioned the fact that a self-proclaimed billionaire needs them to send him money for anything. Think about it - he has over a billion dollars, but he needs your donation of $25 or $100 - to do what with? If he really a billionaire, those donations are nothing more than a rounding error. Yet the faithful keep sending him money, never questioning why he needs it othe4ra than MAGA!

And that's the long con that he has been working for years, and has been paying off for him. He has identified the marks and makes his pitch directly to them, and they respond. It's actually a brilliant strategy - possibly illegal, but still brilliant.

Also, do any of his cultists wonder why he is the perpetual victim? Why literally EVERYTHING he says is a complaint about how unfairly he's being treated? Is it even possible for one man to live his entire life with the rest of the world being unfair to him? If so, what does he think is fair? As far as I know, he has never defined what "fairness" is supposed to look like - only that he has not been treated in a way he cannot define. And his cultists eat it up; no one, including the media, has ever asked him asked him what "fair" means. Why is that?
