It's amazing how the GOP likes to take credit for stuff...

The Biden Administration announced it was releasing $45 Billion in funding for broadband as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and GOP politicians shamelessly lined up for a victory lap.

Sen Tommy Tuberville crowed about the $1.4 Billion Alabama will get to expand internet access to rural communities. He voted against the bill.

Sens Cornyn and Cruz both bragged about the $4 Billion Texas will get for the same reason. Both of them voted against the bill.

Rep Nancy Mace of South Carolina was ecstatic about the money her state would receive. She not only voted against the bill, but derided it as "socialism". I guess it's only socialism when it doesn't fit your political agenda and help your voters.
