Ugh...I raised my son in this little redneck town...nice people and all, but what is this guy thinking? I totally agree that this is ridiculous...a move to legislate things which are individual decisions. My boy never got a pair of ultra baggies though they were in fashion then. I, like you, was a demonstrative mother. I taught him early on not to whiz in the bath tub, to remember to zip pants, not to tinkle on the toilet seat...ummmm...how to avoid all kinds of unsavory behavior by a very near occasion of performing it myself.
We avoided tatoos, excessive ear piercing, baggy britches and all kinds of stuff with "what's good for the gosling is good for Mother Goose" psychology. Good mothering, JK. High five. |
