Having a glass of pino...it's very cold here (37) and I can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight.
At 6am I'm having my retina surgery. Now, I'm looking forward to enhanced eyesight after I heal from the surgery, I will be wrapped in warm blankets and be serenaded with the music of my choice as I'm put under complete anesthetic and be done in 25 minutes I'm told, and VOILA! then off to breakfast at the beach and a nice rest in the spa for Himalayan salt inhaling (not bud) before lunch. My post op exam is at 1pm, then we'll do lunch in Pismo.
Sorry if you all think this belongs in DW, just trying to make a very stressful procedure (for me, not my surgeon) go more smoothly and less focused on sterile procedure...just praying the procedure goes well and that I heal quickly cuz honestly, I'm just too busy for this $^@& (crap). |
