I bought a Fitbit about a year ago and I'm very glad I did. I have it set to vibrate if I haven't hit a minimum of 250 steps in any given hour (on a schedule I set). So if I'm 'parked' for a while working on my books, surfing the web, etc., I get a reminder to get up off my rear end and move around a bit. It's also been useful to me for tracking my sleep (or lack thereof...)
I believe the one I have is the HR. It's mid-range for their product lines and I've been pretty happy with it. (It also displays current BP, ave resting BP, etc.) Something to consider, at least... |
