Results only took two days, so that was great. Our mountain county positivity numbers are skyrocketing. Our county is getting a head start on boosters in the hopes they (people) will be spaced out some, and not like the first 2 vaccines. We talked with them about the booster as we’re only at barely 7 months, but also discussed the end of September we are driving cross country to see big leaves changing. We will drive to Vermont (another place I’ve never been), driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway and want to be able to get our flu shots before leaving. They said this is the perfect time for booster, wait 2 weeks for flu vaccine, and 2 weeks later we will be on the road.
My arm is aching some, which didn’t happen with first 2 vaccines, and it has a bruise on it already — this nurse put it in slowly, whereas the others were in/out before I even knew. This is only symptom so far. Will report in the morning. |
