Bear always gloats (and, rightfully so) about his prowess in the garden. GO BEAR!! I have none. At least 'til now that I was gifted the right plant for me. I've always said "even my silk plants die on me."
About 3 months ago, I had a signing in Sacramento. I remember it was very hot that day. They have a great garden with a variety of plants. Of course, I commented on how lovely their garden looked. He does all the gardening. When we were done with the signing, he asked me to not rush off. He snipped off a couple of clippings from one of the plants, wrapped them in very moist paper towels and put them in a plastic baggie. As he handed them to me, he said, "thank you for the smoothest and easiest signing I've ever had. When you get home, just put these in a jar of water and when you see the roots, put 'em in dirt." I did just that and they have grown and spread! Wandering Jew (purple).
