Just got back late last night from Hawaii celebrating our 40th anniversary with 2 other couples. We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina resort for a week in a villa with an ocean view.
The state of Hawaii requires a negative Covid test every 48 hours. At Kaiser Permanente, we were told that the test is good from the time it is printed out for 48 hours. Wherever we went, we were told it was 48 hours from the time the test was taken. Just to be safe, we stopped at Kaiser from the airport to get tested. So, for the first 4 days, we were going to Kaiser to get tested, coming back the next day to get tested and pick up the results from previous test. They only released hard copies. But we made the most of it as 3 of our party had never been to Hawaii and one hadn't been in about 40 years. We had our anniversary dinner overlooking the harbor at Honolulu and took a sunset dinner cruise the next night. Went to different tourist sites and just had a great time. This was the first time either of us had flown first class, it was NICE!!! |
