USPS
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 12/13/21 4:39pm Msg #33926
On Nov. 4, I called a company in Union, NJ to return a product. They said they would send me a prepaid return label. Since I'm in TX, I gave them almost 2 weeks before I called again. They checked and said the post office was waiting for me to bring the package to them. I would like to do that, says I, but I need the label first.

After 10 minutes on hold while they checked on it, I was asked whether I had an email address so they could send another label that way. Gave them my email address, got the email about 30 minutes later. Packed and shipped the item the same day, a Friday; they received it on Monday.

Today I received the original label. First-class mail, postmarked Nov. 4. It took 39 days to get a first-class letter from NJ to TX. I could have walked there in less time.
