Seems to me that a war happens because of extreme differences in beliefs, whether they be religious, cultural, political - or some combination of those factors, and more. So yeah, I also think that's more appropriate for JP. If it's controversial or an issue that people take varying positions on and tend to get fired up about, it probably belongs over there.
