Welcome to the Notary Talk General Discussion Forum. Before posting, please read the

It’s time for the bullying to cease and desist.
Posted by  Christine/OK of OK on 9/28/14 5:36am Msg #516120
If you have followed what I've posted over the years and noticed my character and demeanor, you would have immediately known that I had been attacked ( Msg #516032 ) in order for me to reply in that manner. Big Smile

The following PM was sent to those who defended this individual: "you would not be defending this misogynist, if you would have read his response via PM to my original post, but to each their own I suppose." His message via PM was, at best, second-grade antics and will not be tolerated.

This thread simply serves as an example that prior to posting (in an effort to serve members) consideration should be given to the behavior present over time, in all fairness, by both individuals and to possibly consider querying (PM or call) prior to a public post. Big Smile

There are folks (bullies i.e., self-appointed 'Supreme Court') who lambast anyone who posts something that they happen to dislike for whatever reason they contrive and it’s truly a sad state of affairs on the forum.

According to the general understanding, this forum is for all to have a place to commune together and this bullying behavior does not condone nor welcome the diversity that should be present on the forum daily.

Each individual has their own field(s) of expertise and valued contributions. Some of the ‘Supreme Court’ even dictated that your experience, education, and/or certification are a moot point, until they determine that you are of value. This is simply an inane posture to adopt, let alone to advance. My goodness . . .  If that were a valid premise, why would humans have the capacity for memory?

Gratefully, many Premier Members/Courtesy Members have said via phone calls and PM that they are appalled at the unprofessional behavior of these few individuals in regard to this attack – because they inherently understood that his remarks sprung forth from the original post that I made ( Msg #516032 ) about the out of business companies that need to be identified via a symbol, acronym, or color-coding within Signing Central list and the business needs for it to be updated.

At the same time they have expressed that their disdain and dismay is at such an extent that many simply refuse to post at all for fear of reprisal, retribution, or retaliatory acts (e.g., John_Tennant) as exemplified in this thread. The bullies have made their presence known above (keep in mind that not everyone that posted above is a bully).

When members express that they don’t have the liberty to discuss anything on the Notary Rotary forum, because of the attacks that they've witnessed/experienced, it does give cause for pause and should reveal that it’s time for the bullying to cease and desist.

As always, best wishes for success to all. Big Smile
