Recent uptick in new business trend...a least new for me. It
Posted by grapebed of MO on 2/26/18 8:15pm Msg #590378
seems like I am getting more calls from bank customers at their local branch telling me either 1) there is no notary at the branch or 2) the notary won't notarize their document.

These aren't big jobs, but I made $90 in cash today for three signings all within 1 to 1 1/2 miles from me...all three signings took less than a total of 30 minutes. I do live in a semi-urban area with many bank branches. Two common threads: 1) the bank will no longer staff a notary at the branch and 2) the bank won't touch anything except the most mundane notarizations. Anything that could possibly end up in court a will, a trust, a POA, etc. they won't touch.

Now the UPS stores are another story. They are real buzz kills!
