Why nursing homes no longer have nortaries
Posted by CW2Ret/VA of VA on 2/27/18 7:39am Msg #590388
I asked at the nursing home why they no longer have notaries on staff. There are two. Liability issues and more importantly conflict of interest. Since most request for nursing homes for notarizations can result in them receiving funds from residents this makes it a conflict of issue since they often receive a financial benefit as a result.
