Question:
Is that email account the same that you use for Amazon and Ebay? If so, that's their foot in the door, and it's probably the same person who attacked all three. Even with different passwords for each site, there are programs that can crack a password very quickly if the password is not a strong one - i.e., one that uses a long random mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and other characters. |
