The latest one in this particular thread called "It's time for the bullying to cease and desist." You were in no way, shape or form attacked in #516032 -- at least in open forum, and if it were by PM, then you continue with PMs and not bring it public like a little preschool child.
I don't go back to the inception of this board, but darned-near close. We were what the newbs referred to as the groupies or cliques. We had a strong bonding both in the forum and personally. We had out bouts of disagreements and downright arguments, and we would kick one another in the rear when we strongly felt they were wrong and needed the kick, but it was in no way like your lack of professionalism of your posts -- not only with John but with Tracy/NR. You made a suggestion -- it sounds like over and over. If they choose to ignore you and don't get back with you, then so be it. You don't think our little clique made suggestions back in the day? Ask any of the old timers (you won't find many) how many of our suggestions were implemented -- believe me, not many.
As is going on right now with lists, we had our own lists that we created and we shared among our clique. We didn't feel entitlement or that Harry, Tracy or Griff owed us an up-to-date database of the good guys, the bad guys, the guys that went out of biz, or the guys that went out of biz only to come back with a new name.
If your numerous contacts with Tracy reflect on your posting of what has been said, I'm actually surprised they haven't pulled your plug -- and you want them to hand over their database so you can volunteer to "fix" it? Not hardly. They have had members steal their database and go on to form their own forums who also they could do it better. Their forums were short-lived.
If you want color-coded lists or up-to-date lists, then use your own shoe leather and create your own -- then you'd know it was right. |
