out the notary! Ours is the smallest fee in the process. So much for the CA who brag about charging higher fees. Cheryl was just posting about cutting out the "middle man". I guess they consider us the middle man in the process. I think this is a slap in the face for the hundreds of thousands of loans we have facilitated. When NC tried to go back to attorney-only, the state took the position that using notaries was good for the consumer & saved them money!
