Yes, it is and I itemize it out on their receipt so they know exactly what they are paying for.
When someone calls for GNW work, I quote them EXACTLY what my fees are from the information they have given me, especially the per notarized signature fee.
People do get confused though. Many times they think you are stating $10 for each signature instead of each NOTARIZED signature. I have to clarify that more times than not.
When they don't want to pay that travel/convenience/time fee, I refer them to UPS, that's really their only other option, unless they want to try another notary, which is fine by me. |
